Each year, ACT Expo brings together a national network of organizations to provide expertise and insight on the technologies and policies that are shaping the world of clean transportation. The “Clean Transportation Revolution” took place May 1st-May 4th, 2017 in Long Beach, California. At the annual event, attendees had the opportunity to network with more than 3,500 clean transportation stakeholders, connect with hundreds of leading vehicle, fueling, and technology suppliers in the Expo Hall, and learn from peers in fleet-focused educational sessions. ACT Expo is considered the largest clean fleet event for all alternative fuels and all weight classes. Fleets of all different sizes and from all different industries gathered together to learn how to reduce costs and emissions.
ACT Expo offered a combination of presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. Featured speakers that spoke at the conference were from global companies such as Wal-Mart, Honda, and General Motors Corporation. In addition, attendees heard perspectives from “transportation trailblazers” such as Fleet Owner, Penske Truck Leasing, and Mack Trucks.
Members from our Sustainability, Marketing, and Sales Team attended the conference. They gained insight and knowledge in several areas such as trucking efficiency, fleets of the future, future trends in transportation technology, and what to expect from the EPA in the next four years.
ACT Expo proved that companies are more proactive than ever in the quest to be green.
